Revenue
How Much Do Roblox Games Actually Make in 2026?
Roblox does not publish per-game earnings, but every experience leaks enough public signal — visits, concurrent players, ratings and pass prices — to model revenue within a believable range.
This guide explains the exact math Huntlox uses, what the benchmarks look like across game sizes, and where estimates go wrong.
The core formula: Robux per visit
Almost every credible Roblox revenue model starts with RPV — Robux per visit. It is the average amount of Robux a game monetises from one play session, across game passes, developer products, subscriptions and paid access.
Across the public catalogue, a healthy general-audience experience lands around 0.8 Robux per visit. Heavily monetised simulators and tycoons push far above it; social hangouts and obbies sit well below.
- Low monetisation (obbies, showcases, social): 0.1–0.4 R$ per visit
- Typical mid-core experience: 0.6–1.2 R$ per visit
- Aggressive simulators / gacha loops: 2–6 R$ per visit
Turning Robux into dollars
Developers cash out through DevEx at roughly $0.0035 per Robux. That is the number to use for take-home revenue, not the $0.0125 players pay when buying Robux.
So a game doing 1,000,000 visits a day at 0.8 R$ per visit earns about 800,000 Robux, or roughly $2,800 per day before taxes and team splits.
Why rating matters more than you think
Rating is a proxy for session length and repeat play. Games rated above 90% convert dramatically better than games in the 60s, because players stay long enough to hit a paywall and come back the next day.
Huntlox scales RPV by a rating multiplier so a 95%-rated game is modelled well above a 65%-rated game with identical traffic.
What the top of the chart looks like
The largest Roblox experiences sustain six-figure concurrent player counts and tens of millions of visits per week. At those volumes, daily revenue in the five to six figure USD range is normal, and the annual figure crosses eight figures for the very top titles.
The long tail is where most developers live: a game holding 500 concurrent players steadily is usually worth a few hundred dollars a day — a real business for a small team.
Where estimates break
Paid-access games, limited-time events, off-platform promotion spikes and bot traffic all distort visit-based models. Treat every estimate as a range, and prefer relative comparison — is this game earning more or less than a competitor — over absolute precision.
Frequently asked
What is the Roblox DevEx rate?
Roughly $0.0035 USD per Robux for eligible developers, which is the rate used for all cash-out revenue estimates.
Can you see another developer's exact revenue?
No. Roblox keeps earnings private. Estimates are modelled from public visits, players, ratings and pricing.
